The Overflow of Generosity
At Citadel, we believe that following Jesus means full engagement—actively participating in His Kingdom work, not merely observing. Generosity is a key expression of that participation. We are called to be contributors, not passive consumers, using what God has entrusted to us for His purposes.
When we live generously, we move beyond simply receiving to actively partnering in God’s work. Generosity fuels ministry, strengthens relationships, and transforms lives. It’s through our willingness to give—our time, tressure, and talents—that we fully embrace His mission.
God calls us to make an impact both in our neighborhood and among the nations. As we live open-handedly, we become conduits of His love—bringing hope, restoration, and the message of Jesus to the world around us.
Giving
Faithful Giving, Kingdom Impact
Tithing is an act of worship and trust, recognizing that everything we have comes from God. By faithfully giving the first 10% as an act of obedience, we align our hearts with His Kingdom and participate in His work. Malachi 3:10 reminds us that God honors our obedience, pouring out blessings beyond measure.
If God is stirring your heart to go beyond, consider giving an OFFERING above and beyond your tithe. Every penny given to the missions fund goes directly toward making Jesus known in our neighborhood. As we give faithfully, we reflect His generosity and actively help advance His mission—impacting lives in our church, our community, and beyond.
Participating
Step In and Take Part
God’s Kingdom isn’t a spectator sport—He calls each of us to actively participate in His work. Whether through serving, giving, or encouraging others, we are meant to engage, not just observe. Ephesians 4:16 reminds us that the body of Christ grows and thrives as each part does its work.
